TennisThe Republic girls tennis team stayed hot Tuesday, with an 8-1 win over Aurora. The Lady Tigers won all three doubles matches, and five of the six singles matches, in an easy victory.

The win continues Republic’s momentum from their last outing, when they won the Monett Invitational Friday. In that tournament, Samantha Minor and Taylor Sherman teamed up to win their flight of the doubles bracket. Amanda Pinnell and Jordan Baker finished fourth in their doubles bracket.

On the singles side, both Courtney Jenkins and Meagan McCord finished second in their respective brackets, helping Republic earn the overall team title.
