The Lady Tigers will have a bye in the first round at the District Volleyball Tournament in Aurora. They took the first seed in a 6-team district, during a coaches’ meeting Wednesday night. Here are the seeds:
1. Republic
2. Cassville
3. Reeds Spring
4. Mount Vernon
5. Springfield Catholic
6. Aurora
District play starts Monday, Oct. 26. In the first round, #3 Reeds Spring will play #6 Aurora, and #4 Mount Vernon will play #5 Springfield Catholic.
In the second round, Republic plays the winner of the Mount Vernon/Catholic match, and Cassville plays the winner of the Reeds Spring/Aurora match.
The finals will be on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
