Republic wrestler Jake Laswell is competing in the state tournament tonight. Laswell qualified by finishing 4th in the 160-pound weight class at the District Tournament.
The tournament runs from today through Saturday. It’s being held at Mizzou Arena in Columbia. Laswell will wrestle first during the evening session tonight.
UPDATE:
In the 1st round, Laswell lost to Patrick Rhoads of Staley.
In the 2nd round, he was defeated by Davonte Gomillia of St. Louis Sumner.
