The Republic Tigers captured the Evan Pullen Memorial Tournament title Sunday, with a 12-3 win over Clever at Barnhouse Field. Jordan Coiner was 3-for-4 with three extra-base hits.  He drove in three runs.

Blaze Carano was also 3-for-4 for Republic, who improved to 8-1 this season.

The Tigers made it to the title game with a 6-5 win over Miller and a 10-7 win over Glendale.  The tournament championship capped a big week for the varsity Legion team, which included a double-header split with Nixa in league play earlier in the week.
