Republic’s 8th grade girls basketball team captured the Central Ozark Conference tournament championship Thursday with a win over Ozark.
It’s the 2nd straight conference title for that group of Lady Tigers. They won the 7th grade tournament last year, beating Ozark in the finals.
The Republic 7th graders kept their hopes for a COC championship alive with a win in their tournament’s semifinal round. The Lady Tigers blew out Nixa 46-25.
