Branson knocked out 12 hits in an 11-1 win over Republic Thursday.
The Pirates scored in every inning but the 4th, and took advantage of six Republic errors. The Tigers managed only three hits off Pirates starter Sam Perez, who picked up the win. Perez struck out eight and went the distance for Branson. Republic’s Garrett Woods took the loss.
Lake Keller had three hits and scored three times for Branson.
The Republic JV team won 11-5.
