The Lady Tigers volleyball team opens district play at Nixa Thursday at 5 pm. Republic is the top seed in Class 4 District 12. The Lady Tigers will play Joplin (#4) or Webb City (#5).
The other six teams in the district will open play Tuesday night. Joplin meets Webb City (#5). Nixa (#2) plays Neosho (#7), and Carthage (#3) takes on McDonald County (#6).
Both the semifinals and finals will be played Thursday night. The district championship match is scheduled to begin at 8 pm, immediately after the second semifinal.
