The state champion 1994 Republic Lady Tigers will be honored at Mizzou Arena during halftime of the Class 4 girls state championship game. Tipoff for that game is scheduled for 6:20 pm.
The ’94 team was the first Lady Tigers squad to win a state championship (in Class 3A). They went 31-1, with their only loss to the 4A state runners-up, Kickapoo.
Each year during the championship games, the Missouri State High School Athletic Association honors former champions on the anniversaries of their Show-Me Showdown victories.
