Ozark banged out 15 hits in a Central Ozark Conference win at Republic Tuesday, 10-2. Collin Fraley was 4-for-5 with four runs scored in the leadoff spot for Ozark.

Dustin Eby had his roughest outing of the season for Republic on the mound. He allowed seven runs — five earned — in 3 2/3 innings.

Ozark scored three in the 1st, a single run in the 2nd, three more in the 4th, and two runs in the 5th to make the score 9-0 before Republic got on the board. Republic’s only two runs came in a 5th inning rally when Creed Smiley doubled home Jansen McQuerter and scored on a single by Jake Smith later in the inning.

Caleb Essick was the winning pitcher for Ozark, allowing two runs on five hits in five innings. Nathan Buckmaster pitched two scoreless innings in relief.
