Republic jumped ahead 4-0 in the top of the 1st inning and never looked back in a 9-4 romp at Bolivar. The Tigers eventually led 9-0 before the Liberators scored four late runs.

Austin Beckner was 3-for-3 with three runs scored and two runs batted in for the Tigers. Chandler Coates knocked in two runs, and also picked up the win with a strong outing on the mound. He went 5 2/3 innings, allowing three runs on eight hits. He struck out five and only walked one.

The Tigers broke on top in the first when Beckner singled home Creed Smiley. Parker Nelson scored on a sacrifice fly by Regan Butterworth to make it 2-0, and when the ball got away from the catcher, Beckner and Coates both came around to score as well.

In the 3rd inning, Jansen McQuerter singled home two runs to make it 6-0. The Tigers scored a single run in the 4th to take a 7-0 lead. In the 6th, Beckner doubled home Jake Smith, then scored on a single by Coates to make it 9-0.

Republic is back on the field at Neosho Tuesdsay, then plays at Webb City Thursday. The Tigers are back home Friday against Monett.
