Three Lady Tigers underclassmen took the spotlight for Republic at the annual Girls Night Out track and field meet at JFK Stadium in Springfield Tuesday night. Leading the way was sophomore Brooke Stanfield, who finished in the top eight in four different events. Freshmen Haven Lander and Madison Appleberry also placed in the top eight.

For Stanfield, the best finish was in the 200 meter dash, where she finished 2nd. She took 3rd in the 400 meters, 5th in the 100 meters, and 8th in the high jump.

Appleberry finished 8th in the 800 meter run.
