For the second year in a row, Republic Lady Tigers soccer player Sara Marcotte has earned all-state recognition. Marcotte, Republic’s leading scorer, was named to the All-State 2nd team in Class 2.
Marcotte ends her career in Republic as one of the most prolific goal scorers in Missouri history. She racked up 128 goals and 40 assists in 91 career games. Her career averages of 1.41 goals per game and 3.4 points per game place her 8th on Missouri’s all-time records list.
Republic’s Sierra Casagrand and Lesleigh Fenton joined Marcotte on the Class 2 District 11 All-District 1st Team. Emily Jordan and Morgan Jones were both named 2nd team all-district.
