The second half made all the difference in a Branson victory over Republic Tuesday night in Branson. The teams were tied 1-1 at the midway point, but the Pirates scored three goals in the second half to pull away.
Julio Quezada scored the only goal for Republic in the first half. But after the break, Branson dominated.
“We broke down in the second half,” says coach David Ashby. “They just outworked us.”
Republic falls to 2-4 on the season. They’re 0-2 in COC play.
