The brutal schedule to start the season may be toughening up the team for later in the season, but it isn’t doing any favors for the Lady Tigers’ win-loss record. Republic dropped to 0-3 to start the year, losing twice this weekend at Jefferson City Helias.
The Lady Tigers lost to the host team in Helias in three sets, 25-22 11-25 17-25.
The Lady Tigers also pushed Columbia Rock Bridge to three sets, losing 25-23 14-25 15-25.
The JV and freshman squads both split their matches, losing to Helias in straight sets and winning over Rock Bridge in straight sets.
The Lady Tigers are back in action at home against Springfield Glendale on Tuesday.
