Seven Eight members of the Republic softball team were named to the all-district team for Class 4 District 12. Four of them were on the first team: pitcher Rachel Rook, catcher Emily Hall, shortstop Kami Holt, and right fielder Molly Zinecker.
The second team included second baseman Tayor Gold, third baseman Lauren Strobel, center fielder Abby Norris, and left fielder Morgan Cantrell.
The Lady Tigers won the district championship as the #1 seed, beating Webb City on a 7th-inning home run by Holt in the championship game.
