Republic fought back after losing the opening set on the road at Willard, evening the match at 1-1 before losing in three. Willard won a close first set 25-22, but Republic controlled the second, pulling away for a 25-18 win. Willard won the third 25-20 to grab a conference win at home.
Micah Mansker had 13 kills to lead Republic. Emily Preston racked up 32 assists in a losing cause.
Republic falls to 8-11-3 with their second straight loss. They’re now 3-3 in the Central Ozark Conference.
