Senior Mitchell Heinzler earned a spot on the all-COC first team, leading a group of four Tigers who won all-conference recognition from the league’s coaches.
Heinzler was the lone Republic pick among the first-team designees. Ten of the 15 spots on the first team were given to players from Carthage, Nixa, and Ozark.
Three Republic players earned second-team all-conference honors. Republic’s leading scorer, Julio Quezada, was one of them as a sophomore. So was freshman Payton Roetto. Senior Matt Hyde, in only his second year of playing soccer, earned all-COC honors for his work defensively.
