Saturday’s snow has forced schedule changes for the Class 5 District 12 basketball tournament at Republic. Saturday’s games involving the #4 and #5 seeds have been postponed until Monday.
Willard will play Joplin at 6 pm Monday in the girls bracket. The boys game between Willard and Joplin is scheduled for 7:30 pm Monday.
The girls semifinals are now scheduled for Tuesday, March 3. Republic plays the Willard/Joplin winner at 6 pm. Nixa plays Neosho at 7:30 in the other girls semifinal.
The boys semifinals are scheduled for Thursday. Nixa meets the Joplin/Willard winner at 6 pm. Republic will play Neosho at 7:30 in the other boys semifinal.
The championship games are scheduled for Friday, March 6. The girls district championship game will start at 6 pm, with the boys to follow at 7:30.
