The Tiger and Lady Tiger 4×100 relay teams were among the highlights of the Republic Relays Thursday. Both teams won their events, leading the way among several individual event champions for Republic. The boys team finished fourth and the girls finished fifth overall.
The team also celebrated Senior Day. You can find photos of the pre-meet ceremony here.
The boys 4x100m relay team finished in a time of 43.51, breaking the previous school record, which they had set earlier this year.
The girls 4x100m relay team finished first in a time of 52.63.
Brooke Stanfield won the 200m dash with a time of 26.10. She also won the high jump by clearing 5’0″.
Tryston Ellison won the 100m dash in a time of 10.89.
Jerney Jones won the long jump with a leap of 20′ 2 1/4″.
Jace Bayless won the triple jump with a result of 41’0″.
