After posting some of their best scores of the season at the Central Ozark Conference Tournament last week, the Lady Tigers golf team struggled at sectionals in Lee’s Summit Monday. Only Katie Hamilton scored well enough to advance to sectionals, shooting a 96 on a difficult course.
Alexus Mitchell missed the cut by one stroke, at 99. Caroline Blanford missed the cut by three strokes, with a 101. Other scores included Emma Blanford with a 105 and Madison Beckham with a 107.
Hamilton will compete in sectionals at Horton Smith next Monday, as she searches for a bid in the state tournament.
