Republic’s Katie Hamilton finds herself near the middle of the pack at the midway point of the Class 2 state golf tournament at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield.
Hamilton shot an 89 on the first 18 holes of the tournament, tying a personal best on the course. She teed off from hole #10 and put together a strong score through the midway point of the round, before faltering in the second half.
Hamilton’s score places her at 53rd in the field of 88. She’ll tee off at 8:57 Tuesday morning.
