Six different Republic wrestlers won their weight division as the Tigers captured first place overall at the bolivar invitational to open their 2015–16 season. Republic finished with 356 points overall — far outdistancing the rest of the field. Second- and third-place finishers St. Joseph Benton and Har-Ber (Ark.) were nearly 100 points behind the Tigers with 270 and 268 points, respectively.
Shayne Piles, Zach Dickens, Hunter Pyle, Jonathan Beckett, Brandon O’Connell and Michael Taylor were all champions in their weight classes.
Hunter Powell, Christian and Richardson, and Austin Noblitt each finished third in their divisions.
