Conference Champs Jones & Lander Lead Republic at COC

Jerney Jones and Haven Lander each captured individual titles to lead the Tigers and Lady Tigers at the Central Ozark Conference track championship.

Jones won the 100m dash with a time of 10.97. That was his best time of the year so far. Jones was 3rd in the 200m dash with a time of 22.94 (also a season-best). He was also 2nd in the long jump, with a distance of 21’ 07″.

Haven Lander was 1st in the pole vault, clearing 11’0“. Mariah Stanfield cleared 9’0” to finish fourth.

Lauren O’Hara 2nd in the long jump with a personal best of 16’ 3.75″

Avy Powell-Qualo tied for 4th in the high jump at 4’ 8″.

Autumn Garner was 3rd in the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.57. That was her best time in the event this year.

Treydon Rackley finished 3rd in the 1600m run with a time of 4:37.84. Philip Canfield was 6th.

Canfield also finished 3rd in the 3200m run with a time of 9:52.31.

Republic’s 4x100m girls relay team finished 2nd with a time of 51.65. The team consisted of Autumn Garner, Haven Lander, Lauren O’Hara, and Avy Powell-Qualo.

The Lady Tigers finished 5th overall. The Tigers finished 8th.
