COC Sweep: Lady Tigers Tennis Finishes Perfect Conference Season

Republic’s tennis team completed a perfect run through the Central Ozark Conference with a 6-3 win over Branson Tuesday night. The Lady Tigers finished the conference season without a loss in COC Large play, capturing the regular-season title. It’s the first time Republic has finished the COC Large regular season undefeated.

Kaitlyn Snyder, Kaytlin Pearce, Heather Georges, and Molly Womack all had key wins against Branson Tuesday.

The JV Lady Tigers wrapped up their season with a win as well, 18-4. They finished with a 10-2 record — a JV record for the girls tennis program.

Republic will try to continue its dominance at the COC Tournament, coming up in Branson on Thursday.

“We need to follow up on this success with a focused and determined effort on September 22nd at the very competitive COC tennis tournament,” says coach Eric Hanson.

The Lady Tigers are 11-1 overall.
