The Lady Tigers finished 3rd at the Jim Pearson Invitational in Springfield Monday, just four strokes out of the lead. Katie Hamilton finished tied for second, with a career-best 76.
Joplin won the tournament with a team score of 352 and Glendale was 2nd with a score of 355, just a stroke ahead of Republic.
Alexus Mitchell shot an 88, Rylea Smith shot a 93, Madison Beckham finished at 99, and Ashley White scored 100.
Hamilton’s 76 was just one stroke away from the school record, set by Payton Rayl in 2010.
