Two Lady Tigers kept their cross country seasons alive at the district meet in Joplin Saturday. Jade Kirby and Baylee Manes both finished in the top 30 to qualify for sectionals.
Kirby finished 20th with a time of 20:38.4. Manes was 26th, finishing in 20:51.3.
Lawson Tunnell just missed the cut, finishing 35th. Madi Appleberry was 44th. Miku Nambara, Kiersten Manes, and Tabitha Caruthers also competed in the varsity race.
The highest finisher among the Republic boys was Chad Parker, who finished in 18:45.5. Ashton Canfield, Aaron Scobee, Owen Davis, and Sean Cross also ran in the boys varsity race for Republic.
