Freshman Jade Kirby was the top Republic finisher at the Central Ozark Conference cross-country championship in Nixa Tuesday, finishing 10th overall among the varsity girls.
Kirby turned in a time of 20:53.25 to earn her top-10 finish. Brylee Manes finished 24th with a time of 21:37.52. Other varsity runners for the Lady Tigers were Lawson Tunnell, Madi Appleberry, Miku Nambara, Kiersten Manes, and Tabitha Caruthers.
Jake Parker was the top finisher for the boys, with a time of 18:17.72. That was good for 27th place. Chad Parker finished 39th with a time of 19:05.68. Ashton Canfield, Aaron Scobee, Josiah Creech, Sean Cross, and Owen Davis also ran in the varsity race for Republic.
