Two Tiger wrestlers won individual titles at the Bolivar Wrestling Invitational to start the season Saturday. Michael Taylor went undefeated (4-0) in the 113-pound division to win 1st place. Jonathan O'Connell was also unbeaten (4-0), competing in the 126-pound weight class.
Republic finished 4th overall, with 133 team points. Bolivar edged St. Joseph Benton 156.5 to 155.5 for the tournament championship. Marshfield was 3rd with 145 points.
Two other Tigers finished 2nd in their individual classes: Hunter Pyle (195 pounds) and Julian Richardson (heavyweight). Connor Russell placed 3rd at 106 lbs. Johnny Rexroad was 4th in the 132-pound division.
