Tigers Sit 11th After Day 1 at Kinloch Classic

The Republic wrestling squad is in the top half of the pack through the first day of the Kinloch Classic at Parkview High School. Republic is in 11th place out of 25 teams in the field. Buffalo holds a slight lead over Ozark and Rolla in the 1-2-3 spots.

Hunter Pyle earned 30 points for the Tigers, winning four matches by pin and earning a bye in another round.

Julian Richardson pinned three opponents in three matches.

Michael Taylor won three matches as well — two on pins.

The Tigers continue with Day 2 of the tournament tomorrow morning.
