Republic is coming off its best-ever dual season in 2015-16 — but this year isn’t off to a bad start. The Tigers opened their current dual season with two victories at home Tuesday night, first over Webb City, then over Springfield Glendale.
The Tigers hosted a triangular with the Cardinals and Falcons just three days after opening at the Bolivar Wrestling Invitational Saturday.. They started their evening with a 48-31 win over Webb City, then capped the night with a 38-36 victory against Glendale.
Michael Taylor, Jonathan O’Connell, Johnny Rexroat, Seth Wild, Sean Carter, Hunter Pyle, Julian Richardson, and Tyler Dawson all won against Webb City.
Taylor, O’Connell, Trevor Tippie, Wild, Carter, Pyle, Richardson, and Dawson won their matches against the Falcons.
