Republic edged Nixa 32-30 Monday to pick up its first dual wrestling win over the Eagles in nearly a decade. The Tigers followed that up with a blowout win over Kickapoo, 62-15, to complete a sweep at Kickapoo.
In the dual against Nixa, Republic got wins from Michael Taylor, Jonathan O’Connell, Sean Cross, Payton Cron, Sean Carter, Michael Cox, and Hunter Pyle. Against Kickapoo, Blake Hulland, Seth Wild, Kialan Henaghan, Julian Richardson, and Connor Russell also added wins.
