Doke Returns as Tigers Savage Savannah

Only five players scored for Republic, but four of them reached double figures in a 63-26 win over Savannah at Belton Saturday afternoon.

Treydon Rackley led Republic with 17 points. Broc Smith and Caleb Singley scored 14 apiece. Ty Stevens added 13.

Cameron Doke, returning to the team for the first time since breaking his wrist in the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions, scored five points.

Republic improves to 17-5. They step back into Central Ozark Conference play for a showdown at Nixa that will have implications for the league title and for district seedings. The two teams could meet again at Nixa in a couple of weeks in the district tournament.
