Republic scored a single first-half goal and made it hold up on a rain-shortened night at Carthage. The Lady Tigers picked up a Central Ozark Conference victory 1-0.
The game was called when a lightning storm rolled in about nine minutes into the second half.
The Lady Tigers’ only score came around the 25th minute, when Abbie Hicks took the ball at the goalkeeper on a breakaway and punched it by her for the score.
Republic is back in action Thursday at Springfield Central.
