Off the Field: Relays Add Up to Repmo Success

Each week, we’ll step Off the Field to take a closer look at some of the Republic students who are competing in non-sports activities. Our weekly report is brought to you by State Farm Agent Sarah Rader. Talk to her about how you can save money by combining your home and auto insurance.
More than two dozen students from Republic participated in the annual Pummill Math Relays at Missouri State University. All that participation added up to a lot of success for RHS.

Republic’s top finishers were Regan Holmes (2nd place, Geometry Restricted); Tyler Black, Austin Dicer, Noah Geren, and Kimberlee Hunziker (2nd place, Math Mania); and Adam Batz, Noah Geren, Megan Henry, and Brooke Southard (2nd Place, Fourth Year Math Team).

Noah Geren and Jace Bayless took 3rd place in the Programming category. Kimberlee Hunziker was 3rd in the Algebra Open division. The geometry team consisting of Clara Fronabarger, Megan Garbee, Regan Holmes, and Riley Laub also finished 3rd. Andrew Cole took 5th in Programming.
