Republic honored its three seniors, then rolled to an easy home victory over Parkview at home Monday. Senior Case Birlew, who stepped into the top spot in the lineup after several graduations last year, helped lead the way, winning his singles match 8-1 and teaming with Hunter Creek to win doubles 8-1.
The two other seniors, Cameron Doke and Nate Berry, stepped up from JV to fill spots on the varsity team, and combined to win their doubles match, 8-4. Doke won his singles match, as well, 8-3. Berry dropped his match in singles, 8-4.
