Youth Football Camps Set for July 10-13

Republic’s annual youth football camp is slated for next week, as some of Republic’s youngest football players get their first chance to meet new Tiger head coach Dustin Baldwin. The camp is for players going into grades 3-6. It’s scheduled for July 10-13 from 4:00 – 5:30 pm at Republic High School.

Instruction will cover basics like blocking, tackling, catching/running routes, passing, and running.

“Youth Camp gives us a chance as a staff to be around the young kids and introduce our program to them,” Baldwin says. “We will work on basic fundamentals, however, the most important goal of the camp is getting them excited to one day be a Republic Tiger high school football player.”

The registration fee is $20. In addition to three days of instruction, campers will receive a T-shirt and ice cream. Registration begins at 3:30 on July 10.
