Spotless: Snyder Sweeps COC

Republic’s Kaitlyn Snyder left no doubt about who’s the best player in the Central Ozark Conference in 2017. Snyder not only won the top-flight singles championship at the COC Championships in Joplin Thursday, she did it without losing a single game to any of her opponents, winning three straight matches 8-0.

It’s the second consecutive COC championship for Snyder, who won the #1 singles flight last year, as well. She was named COC Large Player of the Year for the second straight year.

In the top doubles flight, Snyder teamed with Molly Womack to win the championship. They didn’t drop a game until the final match.

Heather Georges placed second in the #2 singles flight. Her loss in the finals was her first singles match loss of the season.
