The Evan Pullen Memorial Fundraiser and Basketball Tournament will include a big silent auction this weekend. The money raised from the auction will go to an athletic scholarship fund at Republic High School. The auction begins at 8:00 a.m., Sat., Jan. 23. Bidding closes at 3:00 p.m. on Sun., Jan. 24.
The scholarship fund awarded two $2,500 scholarships in 2009, and organizers are hoping to award more scholarships this year, because it would have been Evan’s graduating year.
There are more than 85 items in the silent auction so far, and they’ve been adding more. Here’s a list of items being raffled for the 2010 Evan Pullen Fundraiser:
