The Lady Tigers volleyball team got seven kills from Nicole Hallam and beat Carthage in two games, 25-18 26-24. Hallam added three blocks for Republic, as they won their second COC match of the week.
Republic’s Nicole Hallam showed Webb City what it missed the first time the two teams met, as the Lady Tigers cruised to a 25-17 25-18 victory Tuesday. The Lady Tigers had lost to Webb City in three games at the Springfield Classic Tournament — but were limited offensively, playing without Hallam. They showed big improvement in every aspect of their game in Tuesday’s win.
The Republic volleyball team started its season with a win over Bentonville, Ark., in two sets (25-17, 26-24). The Lady Tigers trailed 19-23 in the second set before storming back with four straight points to tie it, and eventually seal the victory.
