The Nixa Eagles used a 12-0 run midway through the 2nd half to pull away from Republic, on the way to a 57-47 victory at Nixa Friday.

The Eagles outscored Republic 18-11 in the 2nd quarter, to take a 29-26 halftime lead. In the 3rd quarter, Nixa jumped out early before Republic fought back to tie it. But Nixa ran off six straight points to end the quarter, and led 43-37 heading into the final period. The Eagles scored six more in a row to start the 4th quarter, and coasted from there.
