Hailey Johnson settled down after a rocky start, and the Lady Tigers came from behind to beat Reeds Spring, 7-3.

Johnson was in trouble early, working out of a jam in the first, before allowing two runs in the second. They were the first runs she’d allowed this season, after pitching a shutout against Cassville to start the year Tuesday.

The Tigers used a big rally in the middle innings to come back. RBI hits by Johnson, Lakin Ramsey, and Stephanie Eckhoff keyed a five-run inning to give the Lady Tigers a lead they never relinquished.

“I’m just proud of the way we came back,” said coach Mike Thorne.  “Those kind of games just help you — when you get behind and come back.  You know you always have a chance to come back.
