Three Republic softball players have won all-conference honors. Seniors Hailey Johnson and Amanda Davis, and sophomore Payton Appleberry were all recognized by the Central Ozark Conference.
Johnson was a unanimous pick for first-team all-conference as a pitcher. She was Republic’s best hitter, hitting over .600, with 25 extra base hits, including eight homers, for the year. She also compiled a 1.54 ERA.
Davis was named to the second team as a catcher. She hit .416 with seven doubles, a triple and a home run.
Appleberry earned honorable mention. She had a .337 batting average, and had four of the Lady Tigers’ six hits in their appearance in the final four in St. Joseph.
