The Republic Tigers soccer team led briefly in the first half, but couldn’t hang on, falling to West Plains 3-1.
Republic scored early on a goal from Hugo Donjuan, assisted by Mitchell Heinzler. The Zizzers tied the game on a penalty kick around the 30th minute. They took the lead with a second goal in the 57th minute, and made that stand up the rest of the way. A final goal in the 79th minute capped the scoring.
