The Republic bowling team is in the top 3 in an 11-team league after its first competition of the season.
Republic has 26 team points, sitting just behind Nixa and Kickapoo, who are tied at the top with 31 points. The Tigers competed against Hillcrest and Central last Friday.
The next competition is on March 12th at Lighthouse Lanes in Springfield. Republic will bowl against Willard and Kickapoo.
