Republic’s golfers picked up another tournament win Tuesday at the Greene Hills Country Club High School Invitational. The Tigers shot a 329 overall, beating Mount Vernon by three strokes to take the title. Springfield Catholic finished third with a 344.
Dylan Bekemeier continued his strong season with a 77, taking 2nd place overall in the individual race. Beau Allen and Pierce Pittman each shot an 83, to tie for 10th. Nick Yocum shot an 86 and Jake Fletcher shot an 89.
It’s the fourth win in the past five tournaments for Republic.
