Three Republic golfers qualified for the sectional tournament this week with their finishes at districts. As a team, the Tigers finished third, and failed to advance to sectionals. Republic shot a 345 as a team, 13 strokes behind winner Logan-Rogersville and six strokes behind second-place Monett.
Dylan Bekemeier was the highest finisher for Republic, tying for second with a 74. Beau Allen shot an 83 to tie for 12th. Pierce Pittman shot a 90, and tied for 20th.
Bekemeier, Allen and Pittman will compete in sectionals at Carl Junction on May 2.
