Republic will be well-represented at the 35th annual Lions All-Star Basketball Classic. The annual game pits a team of area all-stars against a team of all-stars from Springfield.
Republic’s Kris Flood will coach the area girls. Senior Alexis Edwards will join him. They’ll be competing against a team of city all-stars coached by Dustin Larsen of Springfield Catholic.
On the boys’ side, senior guard Nick Yocum will compete alongside other area all-stars. The team will be coached by Kendall Tilley of Billings. John Schaefer of Hillcrest will lead the city all-stars.
The games will be played at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, starting with the boys game at 6:30 p.m.
