Senior Garrett Woods threw a complete game three-hit shutout as Republic beat Rogersville 3-1 on the road Wednesday. Woods struck out three and walked one. He also helped his own cause with a hit and a run scored.
The Tigers drew seven walks, including three by Austin Beckner, to put together their offensive output despite having only two hits. Nathan Strobel drove in two runs with a double for Republic.
