The Lady Tigers tennis team will open its season at home tonight against Nixa. The meet will start at 4 p.m.
Republic is coming off its best season ever, which included a district championship for the first time. Returning players include state qualifier Samantha Minor, Meagan McCord, and Danielle Hopkins.
The Lady Tigers softball team will also be in action tonight. Republic is on the road for the second time in a row, when they travel to Reeds Spring. The Lady Tigers beat Cassville 10-0 to open the season Wednesday.
