The Lady Tigers tennis team easily advanced in district play with a shutout win at home over Springfield Parkview. Republic won the first five matches in the best-of-nine dual, leading to an early finish.
The Lady Tigers won all three doubles matches, and Kaitlyn Snyder and Jordyn Gianopulos finished their singles victories first, ensuring the 5-0 win. Republic was leading in the other singles matches, as well, when play ended.
The Lady Tigers will play Springfield Central Tuesday at Gillenwaters Tennis Courts in Springfield.
